Day 2-26 March 2020

The nationwide LockDown has led to the March-June 2020 copy of DRIVERS DUNIYA ready for distribution but still impossible. Packing could not be done. Courier also announced shut down. The first time, this distribution challenge. -- LOGISTIX EXPRESS, the quarterly publication from the Logistics Sector Skill Council, kept me busy with the cover story on the Apprenticeship. Based on the telephonic briefing and my own research on this subject, I began drafting. A lot of interesting stuff. Most of this writing was done in the Master BedRoom, barring the last 30 minutes in the post-tea session. Soon after the Janta Curfew on the previous Sunday (22 March 2020), the first thing we did was to stop the receipt of the daily newspaper. So, goodbye to the Hindustan Times. Nonetheless, tried to read the e-paper today. The thrill of holding the physical paper was missing. No big deal. Will learn to adjust. --' Next, the spouse had gone in for the stoppage of the milk supply. Bhaiya dudh. "Let us switch over to the tetra pack," she suggested. I have no opinion. Anyhow, I had cut down the intake of tea/coffee almost a week ago. Just two cups per day: one 0600 hours and the next at 1500 hours. Of course, a cup of hot milk or Horlicks 2200 hours. Earlier, we used to have 5-6 cups/day. -- The biggest setback is the absence of the daily morning walk: 15 km on 4-5 days or max.70 km/week. Not a single soul in sight.
