The nationwide LockDown has led to the March-June 2020 copy of DRIVERS DUNIYA ready for distribution but still impossible. Packing could not be done. Courier also announced shut down. The first time, this distribution challenge.

LOGISTIX EXPRESS, the quarterly publication from the Logistics Sector Skill Council, kept me busy with the cover story on the Apprenticeship. Based on the telephonic briefing and my own research on this subject, I began drafting. A lot of interesting stuff.

Most of this writing was done in the Master BedRoom, barring the last 30 minutes in the post-tea session. I pushed the draft to Venkat for his comments.

Logistics Secretary got back asking for stranded driver locations, and contact details. Shared and he had forwarded to the Transport Secretary with a request to explore assistance. Kind of him.

Palwal transporter friend Dheeraj called offering assistance. By then, the government has relaxed movement norms enabling stranded drivers to reach their destinations.

BBC friend and ex colleague Faisal Mohammed Ali sought bites form transporters, drivers and self. Provided him after talking to a few in Manmad, Jajpur, Nagpur etc.
